Why this exists, and how it works.
We don't guess. We compute.
We build optimization engines for the questions financial planning tools ignore: How long will you live? Will your money last? Where should you live?
Six engines, one pattern: find a question people answer with guesswork, replace the guess with a computation using published, peer-reviewed data.
Most retirement calculators assume you'll die at 90. That number is a UI default, not actuarial math. The SSA publishes mortality tables going back to 1900 — the same data insurers use to price your life. Those tables are public. Almost nobody builds consumer tools on top of them.
We do. Launching Q4 2026. Free for founding members.
The engine pulls SSA period life tables and WHO healthspan data, runs standard actuarial survival modeling on SSA and WHO data, and adjusts for 10 risk factors — exercise, sleep, smoking, diet, resting heart rate, a few others. Takes about 30 seconds.
Not a medical device. Can't diagnose anything. Not insurance — we don't sell policies and have no plans to. And this isn't a crystal ball. Nobody can tell you when you'll die. This is a statistical estimate, not a prophecy. Talk to your doctor. Talk to your financial advisor. Then come back and run the numbers.
LaaP Labs LLC, registered in the United States. We apply the same actuarial rigor that insurers use internally — but for the people those insurers are pricing.
