Who We Are

LaaP Labs LLC — a U.S. company that builds optimization engines for health and financial decisions. We run the math. We don't monetize the person.

What We Collect

Short list. We keep this minimal on purpose:

• Email address — only if you join the waitlist. We use it to tell you when the product launches. That's it.
• Technical metadata — timestamp, User-Agent, country via Geo-IP, and referral source.
• Calculator inputs — age, sex, country, lifestyle factors. These run in your browser session and are not stored on our servers afterward.
• Wearable data (future) — if you connect a device like Oura, Whoop, or Fitbit, we access only the categories you explicitly authorize. Used to sharpen your calculations, then discarded.

How We Use Your Data

Three things:

• Computing your life expectancy and healthspan estimates
• Sending you product launch notifications
• Improving the accuracy of our models

That's the full list. We don't sell your data. Don't rent it. Don't share it with third parties, don't use it for ads, and don't build advertising profiles. Zero data sold — it's on the homepage because we mean it.

Data Storage & Security

Emails live in Cloudflare KV, encrypted at rest on U.S. infrastructure. Calculator inputs stay in your browser — they never hit our database. Wearable data (when we add it) will work the same way: processed in-session, not stored.

Data Retention

Waitlist data is kept until product launch or 24 months, whichever comes first. Want it deleted sooner? Email privacy@lifeasaproduct.com. We handle it.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time. Email privacy@lifeasaproduct.com — we process requests within 30 days.

Health Information Disclaimer

This is a wellness tool, not a medical device. We are not HIPAA-covered. The calculations use actuarial models built on SSA and WHO population data — they produce statistical estimates, not diagnoses or treatment plans. Talk to your doctor for medical decisions.

Cookies & Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cookieless. Doesn't track individual users. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.

State Consumer Health Data

We recognize our obligations under state consumer health data laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act, where applicable.

U.S. Residents

This service is built for U.S. residents. By using it, you consent to data processing in the United States.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Bot Protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms. It may collect interaction data to tell humans from bots. Cloudflare handles that data under their own Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may change as the product evolves. If something material changes, we'll email you.
